The Customer Equipment Representative is responsible for providing technical support for equipment, parts identification and sales of new replacement equipment, small wares and parts. This position also acts as a liaison between franchises, internal personnel, technicians and vendors handling all activities associated with the sale of equipment, parts and small wares.


May perform any or all of the following duties:

  • Assists customers with their ordering needs via multiple communication methods (phone, email, etc.)
  • Administers and executes all CKE orders to ensure a timely delivery
  • Resolves issues with equipment, tracking, warranty, damage and/or provides technical assistance; escalates issue if necessary
  • Researches products and equipment using all available resources
  • Researches the status of customer orders, replacement parts and returns
  • Follows up and makes scheduled return calls to customers when necessary
  • Manages open orders, purchase orders, back orders, C.O.D. and triangle reports to ensure orders are processed in a timely manner
  • Assists internal departments in identifying parts and part numbers for equipment
  • Manages the automatic shipment program to ensure customer satisfaction on delivery
  • Organizes and executes both Company and franchise equipment  rollouts
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external)
  • Attends training to remain current on industry trends
  • Participates  in company meetings, webinars and conference calls
  • Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements 

  • Must possess approximately three (3) to four (4) years  of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of  restaurant equipment
  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize as necessary
  • Familiarity with CKE equipment, parts and small wares strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; Great Plains or Starship programs is a real plus
  • Must have excellent oral and written communications skills; bilingual English and Spanish preferred
  • Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
  • Must have strong work ethics and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information
  • Office and warehouse fast paced, high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment
  • Sitting for extended periods of time, using telephone, typing and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
  • Travels as needed approximately zero (0)%
