POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES

·       Must possess approximately one (1) to three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of Food Processing, Quality Assurance or Product Development

·       BA/BS Degree in a technical field

·       Must have a strong knowledge of Food Safety Programs and Standard Operating Procedures.

·       Must be knowledgeable in various food product/processing principles, restaurant equipment & preparation systems.

·       Must have practice and/or working knowledge of product inspections and analyses.

·       Must have good organization, problem-solving skills.

·       Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

·       Must have a strong understanding of statistics and statistical process control.

·       Must be proficient with applicable computer programs, ESHA / Genesis experience a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

       Corporate Office environment, project based, fast paced, high volume of activity, demanding and deadline driven. Laboratory, test kitchen and food production facility environments with associated physical and chemical hazards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

       Sitting for long periods at a time, standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs. 

       Travel – 5- 10%
