The Manager, Ad Fund Accounting is responsible for all aspects of the Company’s accounting for it various advertising funds.



May perform any or all of the following duties:

          Displays outstanding leadership skills; provides coaching, guidance and development advice to two (2) direct reports 

          Manages accounting for the Company’s various domestic and international advertising funds

          Works closely with the Marketing and Finance teams to provide support and transparent reporting

          Assists in the preparation of annual fund budgets and provides internal reporting to the Marketing team to evaluate budgeted performance against actuals

          Analyzes quarterly financial statements received from external accounting firm for some of the funds to ensure understanding of fluctuations and ensure it is in compliance with US GAAP

          Prepares quarterly analytics and supports SOX internal control monitoring requirements, external financial reporting, external auditors and other financial reporting processes

          Performs initial review of Company’s significant marketing contracts for accounting-related considerations

          Analyzes expenses related to the funds to ensure that proper accruals are made

          Values efficiency and identifies and initiates process improvement opportunities

          Actively participates in the identification, selection and implementation of appropriate accounting policies, procedures and internal controls

          Assists senior management with special projects and addresses business and financial ramifications of significant and/or unusual transactions, as needed

          Supports strategic initiatives of the Company while preserving the integrity of the financial information and internal controls

          Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls

          Attends seminars and other educational resources to remain current


          Minimum of  four (4) years of any combination of experience and/or education, that demonstrates a commanding knowledge in accounting, finance or related field; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

          Big 4 Public Accounting experience (senior role preferred)

          CPA license, or comparable certification (inactive status is acceptable)

          Familiarity with ERP systems preferred

          Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) systems preferred

          Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

          Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and communication skills

          Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to identify and implement process improvement capabilities

          Strong work ethic; commitment to seeing duties completed at a high standard of quality

          Able to work efficiently and effectively, both in teams and independently

          Ability to use independent thinking and professional judgment

          Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and environment, strong organizational skills and attention to detail



          Corporate Office fast paced, high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment



          Regular interaction with internal partners in person, by phone and/or electronic communications

          Sitting for extended periods of time, using telephone, typing and/or operating a computer and/or mouse
