POSITION SUMMARY


The Operations team coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and project management support to the Restaurant Excellence and Field Operations teams.  This role reports primarily to the Vice President of CKE Restaurant Excellence.  Additionally this position will be the primary support for the field Operations Vice presidents as well as the broader Restaurant Excellence team.  As such this position must maintain confidentiality and exhibit a professional demeanor at all times.  The ability to effectively multitask, prioritize and support multiple stakeholders is critical to the success of the role. 


 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


May perform any or all of the following duties:
▪          Assembles and prepares information needed for meetings
▪          Ability to work with CKE partners on projects that impact guest recovery
▪          Processes all departmental invoices with proper coding and approvals
▪          Support Operations leadership team by tracking key projects and milestone events
▪          Schedules meetings and maintains supervisor and/or department calendars
▪          Schedules and coordinates travel arrangements for Operations leadership team 
▪          Processes expense reports and audits accuracy of expenses to corresponding receipts
▪          Answers, screens, and directs incoming calls for department and distributes accordingly
▪          Prepares or edits PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets as needed 
▪          Communicates effectively and efficiently with various contacts (internal and external)
▪          Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES


▪          Must possess approximately three (3) years of any combination of experience and/or education that demonstrates a commanding knowledge of performing a coordinator role
▪          AA/AS Degree preferred
▪          Must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
▪          Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both inside and outside of the company
▪          Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate shifting business priorities
▪          Must be able to effectively plan and coordinate activity for Operations VP’s weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly
▪          Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload and recommend changes in office practices or procedures
▪          Must have strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
▪          Corporate office, fast paced, high volume of activity, and a deadline driven environment
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
▪          Sitting for extended periods of time, using the telephone in an open-office environment, typing, operating a computer and mouse
▪          Travels as needed approximately 0% - 5%
