The Software Engineer is responsible for working with a team of developers and business analysts and assisting with the creation and maintenance of software applications and integration primarily built for usage both in restaurants and at the corporate office. This role will be required to develop triggers, functions, and stored procedures to support integration throughout the enterprise.  This role also designs and programs various software application interfaces according to project specifications required by multiple departments in accordance with company standards.   Additionally, this role will participate in other projects not directly related to ETL and integration but within the skillset of the position.  
 
Key Responsibilities

Design and Support an ETL framework to meet the business and technical needs 
Work within the IT organization and partner with the Data Architect, DBA’s, Business Analysts and Project Managers on strategic initiatives within the organization
Partner with key business units and project teams on documentation, testing and solution delivery
Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements
Perform data profiling and analysis using a variety of tools
Attends seminars and completes other training to remain current on industry trends
Create and maintain detailed mapping documentation 
Providing support outside core hours

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including facilitation and team leadership
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team 
Strong background in system development and implementation lifecycles
Strong organizational and time management skills and able to handle multiple projects and tasks 
Must have a positive attitude and handle stress well in a highly changing environment  
Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust and support
Must display strong analytical and organizational skills and must have the ability to identify and implement process improvement strategies with positive business results
Ability to adapt and adjust planned work by analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and ability to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems and policies

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field
5+ Years of hands on technical experience with ETL across a variety of platforms
5+ years of SQL Server experience with T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS
5+ years of Java and Unix scripting 
3-5 years  experience with HCM extracts toolkit provided by Oracle HCM Cloud
Working knowledge webservices – SOAP and REST
Experience with migration tools, analyzing and retrofitting PUM images. 
Must have knowledge of SDLC (System Development LifeCycle)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with PowerBI or other BI/Reporting platforms is a plus
