POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner coordinates HR success strategies, communications, and programs relevant to Human Resources best practices and objectives to maximize the strategic use and management of Human Resources functions such as employee compensation, recruitment strategies, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance.  The HR Business Partner core functions include franchise relationship management, creating and sustaining open communication channels between franchise groups and corporate HR.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May perform any or all of the following duties:
Facilitates open channels for communication, feedback, and recognition within franchise community
Support regions in establishing and executing an effective recruiting strategy 
Designs and implements best practices programs, i.e. succession planning strategies and trainings
Collaborates with internal HR Partners in the creation and implementation of Human Resources policies, programs and practices
Conducts touchpoint field visits to understand opportunities for improved support, areas of improvement
Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls
Attends seminars and other educational resources to remain current
Establishes a trusting consultative relationship with business partners
Other duties as assigned or requested

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/CORE COMPETENCIES
Approximately five (5)+ years HR Program Management experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience 
QSR/restaurant industry preferred
Multi-site restaurant industry franchise experience preferred
Proven experience and working knowledge of various Human Resources responsibilities; employment law, practices, and controlling governmental agencies (example; EEO, ADA, FMLA, DOL, WC, OSHA, etc..)
Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, engagement, development and benefit administration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; uses an appropriate business writing style and proper grammar to create business correspondence 
Demonstrated ability to conduct investigations and maintain documentation in an organized manner
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google
Strong work ethic, ensures proper handling of sensitive information, demonstrates a high level of confidentiality
Excellent problem resolutions skills with the ability to resolve disputes and maintain relationships
Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to identify and implement process improvement capabilities to drive business results

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Home Office based and Restaurant environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent overnight travel 
Interactive verbal and listening skills for extended periods of time
Continual keyboarding and note taking
Constant interaction with internal and external partners by phone and/or electronic communications
