SCOPE OF THE ROLE 
The Marketing Coordinator, International contributes to the success of CKE’s business and marketing objectives by supporting the CKE Global Marketing team and working with internal (brand marketing, merchandising) and external (suppliers and vendors) stakeholders.  The Marketing Coordinator, International supports Marketing, in that business goals are met through successful implementation and maintenance of local and regional restaurant marketing initiatives, database maintenance and various other administrative responsibilities.  This position contributes to driving store level transactions and brand development through the day to day execution of international marketing efforts.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in conjunction with the internal marketing team to prepare the promotional planning guides for franchisees across various global regions.
Develop and manage the promotional window commitment form, plan-o-grams, PR, social, LRM, upload digital on portal for company and franchisees. Provide info to print vendor for accurate distribution.
Responsible for execution of the company & franchise media/marketing plans (creative process/approvals).
Communicate key program initiatives/participation with company and franchisees regarding artwork/calendar reminders, etc. Acts as liaison between International constituents and support office/marketing department to ensure ideas and feedback are received and reviewed.
Route marketing program development and marketing merchandising requests through legal and brand approval.
Manage franchise pricing structure for IT, franchise team and vendor.
Responsible for development of the 90-day marketing calendar for company and franchise restaurants
Accountable for franchise & company grand opening events and company remodel plans.
Maintain Company master pricing, menu board elements guide (for new unit openings), Core and DMA menu database, profile forms and provides updates to StarNet.
Review initial proposals, provide data & insight, and provide recommendation to Director of International Marketing for approval.
Responsible for the development and execution of the Local Restaurant Marketing program. Ensuring training, tools and communications are complete and up-to-date.
Assists International Marketing in presentation preparation and development.
Other duties assigned by Director.

RECOMMENDED MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Strong project management skills and ability to effectively manage numerous projects simultaneously
High organizational skills and deadline management a must; Self-starter
Experience in working in a cross-functional environment where on-going communication and information sharing is vital to achieving success
Strong written and verbal skills and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Four-year college degree, prefer business or marketing majors
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in marketing or related field
International experience preferred
