The Regional Asset Protection Manager (RAPM) is responsible for preventing, identifying, mitigating and investigating losses at the restaurant level.  The RAPM develops and administers training programs to promote effective cash handling techniques, inventory control systems and personal security/safety measures.   This positions predominant area of responsibility will be North and South Carolina, but may expand as business needs change.  
 
Responsibilities
Assists in the development, implementation and on-going review of the Company-wide programs to prevent loss and assure the security of Company assets
Responsible for conducting visits, audits, investigations and interviews to identify, reduce and validate and/or resolve any activity resulting in loss to the Company 
Provides immediate follow up to incidents of robbery, assault or high profile incidents 
Works closely with local police in the identification and arrest of suspect(s) and the recovery of cash and inventory and appears in court to present evidence and testify as needed 
Provides Asset Protection awareness training at all levels 
Travels with District Managers and Regional Vice Presidents to identify Operational/Loss Prevention opportunities 
Develops working partnerships with all levels of Operations, Human Resources, Corporate Legal, Accounting, and IT 
Completes all Asset Protection administrative requirements with regards to documentation, incident reports, follow up and requests
Participates in company meetings, webinars and conference calls
Other duties as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirements
Administers Restaurant Target Program in area of responsibility


Qualifications
Approximately five (5) to seven (7) years of any combination of experience and/or education, that demonstrates a commanding knowledge in asset protection, asset management and safety
Certified and proficient in Wicklander-Zulawski phone and advanced interviewing
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management both internally and externally
Strong work ethic ensures proper handling of sensitive information, demonstrates a high level of confidentiality   
Flexibility to handle multiple projects simultaneously and accommodate shifting business priorities
Ability to analyze complex variable situations and identify appropriate courses of action
Must have excellent planning, prioritizing, writing, organizational and problem solving skills

Quick-service restaurant (QSR), Food service, or Retail-specific AP/RM experience

Heavy Travel + Home Office
